am using a geforce fx 5200 video card and a geforce mx 4000 video card
Answer:
Right click anywhere on the desktop step to properties.
a window will overt with the following tab on it, Themes, Desktop,Screensaver,Appearance...
go to the Settings tab
you should see two monitors 1 and 2
step to number 2 when you click on it a new box will appear below the Screen Resolution slider
its a bit box and the words "Extend my Windows deskto onto this monitor.". Check the box.
Viola, you now own one continuous display across two monitors
Pete is right as far as setup, but it still might not work. I use a 2-monitor setup and while I can split almost anything across two screens, I can't split video. It only just doesn't work! And I'm told I can't expect it to. But let me know if you find a instrument around this.
