What are the differences between plasma and LCD screen, besides the discernible ones.?

And what would be best to use for a unusual monitor?

Answer:

Like rel541 said, plus, plasma screens suffer from look angrily, while LCD screens do not.

Just goto your local Best Buy, or Wal-Mart to consideration that.
plasma screens own a slight edge over LCDs surrounded by picture quality. plasma screen typically have better viewing angles than LCD. LCD screen have a predilection to blur images, conspicuously during fast moving scene in movies or contained by sports. LCDs tend to have more pixels on a peak and consume less power than a plasma. plasmas are more credible to suffer from screen burn surrounded by than LCDs. If you're in the marketplace for a big screen small screen -- and we're talking 42-inches and above -- later i'd suggest plasma as a safe bet. Plasmas make a contribution you more bang for your buck at the big conclude of town, and while LCDs can give you better resolution, the price difference is currently too all-embracing. However, if money's not an issue and you want the sharpest image surrounded by town, then a roomy LCD is for you. At the smaller end of things (15" to 36" TVs), LCD is the one and only way to move about if you want something slim and tasteful. And the best thing is that LCDs are getting cheaper adjectives the time.
For a monitor use the LCD. Plasma can burn in descriptions, you know that health meter contained by your game? Do you want to see it when you see CNN? How about the ticker at the bottom of the peak on CNN when say, you want to examine Monday Night Football? Me neither. Check which TV is right for you at link below.
