Wanting to know going on for adjectives LCD monitors and reception over the atmosphere HDTV?

I will be building a contemporary rig pretty soon and one of my goals (if it isn't prohibitively expensive) is to know how to watch OTA HDTV at my workstation. I am brand new to the HTPC screen and HD within general and am particularly confused as to whether or not I need an HD geared up specific monitor to watch over the atmosphere HD content.

I realize I need a tuner/capture card and a obedient graphics card but I am confused about the monitors. SO - if I acquire a good HD PCI tuner card does it thing if the monitor is not "HD ready"?

Here are the items I am currently looking at.

And my video card will probably be this one:

So again - the question is - if I own an HD tuner capture card and a pious video card will any widescreen LCD monitor work? Thanks in finance.

Answer:

The monitors and the graphics card are fine but I would go beside one of three brands of HD tuners, Dvico, VBox, or AverMedia.

I have the usb variation of the Dvico PCI gold card and love it but I dont use their software I use medium center 2005. Their software works fine I just prefer medium center.

If you have any other question just email me.
