It is merely about 2 years ripened and it came near my HP computer. I have mcafee 07 installed. It flashes super briskly like a strobe pallid. please help! Im using a friends monitor temporarily. Can this be fixed or not?

it's time to buy a unmarked monitor.
While it could be a problem with the monitor (tube, bent pins, broken cord), you may want to try to lower the rejuvenate rate and resolution and see if that causes a problem.
If you haven't changed your resolution/refresh rate and adjectives of a sudden it starts doing this, it really sounds like a doomed to failure monitor and requires replacement.

Flashing significance you can see the screen ok, it only just gives you a headache? if so, jump to display propterties, settings tab, Advanced button, then within the Monitor tab adjust the "screen refresh rate" a step up (60 Hertz to similar to 70 hertz for intance)..
click apply, it may say something going on for testing, click ok, if your peak goes wonky sit hindmost for 10 seconds and it'll come support.
try a few different rates, to see what works better...

It's possible that the video card is impossible. You might need to simply replace that and everything will possibly work fine afterwards. Good luck!
