What cause my computer monitor to suddenly be in motion blank.?

It's a a Crt Color Monitor series FS7600. The power is on put no picture.

It deffently sounds approaching something went impossible inside of the monitor. CRT are never really cost effective to fix, even if it is a cheap part of a set the labor will always cost alot, some of the replacement parts can in reality cost more then what you origionally salaried for the monitor.

If the monitor has indicator lights on it, the reading light should be green if it is getting a signal from the tower. If it is yellow, check the plug / connections at both ends. Is the monitor plugged into the wall !

The fly put money on capacitor has ruined. It can be repaired, the part is not intensely expensive (about $20 to $50) but the labor will be at least double that. It is probably cheaper to replace monitor.
