My favorite is as big as it can bring back, but what I HAVE is a 17 inch CRT monitor I got for 50 bucks.
my partiality pc peak is 17" icd.
15 " CRT ;)

bigger is better as the monitor is bigger u can play games on higher res. u will be viewing website on a big resolution which be a sign of that u will not use scroll bar to much
17" LCD is relatively a normal size. But, if you keep watch on movies with your computer or you own a TV TunerCard, I would recommand 19" or 21" LCD monitor.
