What are the best uses for my flat blind monitor?

I brought home a 23" apple cinema display from work and plugged it into my powerbook. At first I be all excited - cool brand new stuff! It works great and looks great. but now I'm resembling, 'pso? What are the best uses for the monitor that I can't do on my laptop?

Answer:

well you can rent some nice dvds or play some cool games using your flat eyeshade monitor it will be really nice to do those things coz your monitor is 23"!
Watch TV? and watch DVD?
games playing
deal in it make a touch extra cash.
depending on the inputs that it have you may be able to hook it up do a seperate dvd player for movies, explicitly if your dvd player has the correct outputs, resembling dvi or vga. however this would be pointless as you could just monitor the movie on your apple. but atleast from watching on a seperate dvd player you could hook up surround sound through a reciever or something if you own the set up. otherwise running surround sound through your computer would require a compatible nouns card, which i don't know if you have. except that, uses for a monitor... spit wad target, overcast mirror.
Movies, games, video editing, that big of a screen will donate you more space to work in more apps - increase productivity. With a computer the characteristic will be determined more by the video card than the monitor.
Wait until your eyes are old and you can not read the peak on your laptop without your specs.
