Also if you have cable or Sattilite TV you can hook up a HD box to your moniter through the componet video input RGB jacks on your monitor.or run it through a VCR next to a RGB jacks or a s-video jack
You just want the correct cables and moniter. Many latest tv's have dvi inputs so you can a short time ago use them as pc moniters. Also, some notebook moniters have inputs for tv type things. The merely thing you couldn't do next to this is to plug the tv signal into your computer and then shift through the computer to the moniter. You would have to of late plug the tv signal into the moniter.
