My Compaq singular has 15 pin output next to standard output. The Dell monitor has 15 pin input (among others) but say it can't display this signal. Do I need a different cord, an adapter, a flat panel driver, or a better video card. I tried downloading the driver and updating my "plug and play" monitor setting but it doesn't stick. Also tried detecting clean hardware but no luck.
Dell monitor is a 2005FPW. Compaq computer is a presario running XP, AMD sempron 2.0 Ghz. Friend gave me the monitor short a cord.

I think the monitor does not game with the monitor. Actually you should replace beside a Compaq monitor.
