Viewing Dvds I observe a slight bluriness. Everything is set to it"s optimum specs. My 3 year old Samsung Lcd have an overall better quality. I am awfully disappointed. Any suggestions how to make this monitor achieve better. thanks

upgrade to HD-DVD or blue sunbeam, you are viewing the highest setting for a majority DVD, since 20" screen contained by a high resolution eyeshade.
dont listen to michael p, upgrading to HD-DVD or Bluray disc is not the answer, dvds are good characteristic just because you own a bad monitor doesnt plan its the DVD, its the viewsonic monitor, i had a viewsonic monitor and it last two years and quit, monitors should last profoundly longer than just two years, and yes i own come to expect samsung to have overall talent because samsung is dependable and reliable and last for a long time, viewsonic is prolly made contained by either china or japan, and most of products made surrounded by china or japan are made cheap there fore they wont concluding long, thats one of the main things explicitly wrong with the bazaar in america, american companies buy from foreign companies and factory just so they can buy the products for cheaper after sale it at american prices so they can increase nearby profits, i could go on and on nearly this but iam sureyou dont wanna hear it!
