HF = Horizontal frequency (it is the number of lines per second that the computer monitor is displaying.
VF = Vertical frequency it is the number of frames per second that the monitor is displaying.
If you computer say zero for both later there is no video signal going to your monitor. Check you video card to see if t is working.
