Vga cable vs svga cable,,, is here a difference surrounded by the cable?

Is the shielding of the cable different, or will any cable convey the signal depending on the peripherals?

Answer:

NO. cable is the same, connector is alike, they all conform to IEEE standard. VGA is invented by IBM, it is upgraded to SVGA and subsequently to XGA.
