Hi,
I've a short time ago bought a new graphics card that have no VGA inputs and only have DVI, but the monitor I want to use is a CRT Hyundai 19 inch with VGA just - can I just use an adaptor (DVI to VGA) or would that not work?
Graphics card is a pci-e 7950GT and I want to run the resolution at no smaller number than 1280x1024 @ 85hz (which is the monitor's recommended setting).
Thanks in mortgage.
Answer:
yeap.. it will work when u plug to a converter Dvi to Vga. the resolution still will be what u wish for..
Yes you can use converter. Costs solitary few bucks.
You should get surrounded by the video card's box something like this:

if, you can get one for a few bucks at your computer store.
Just plug the M part of the pack into the video card, and the monitor cable should go to the other stop (F).
Yes, the adaptor will work.
You've got a VERY NICE high-end gaming card. You could consider moving subsequently to 19W or bigger LCD screen w/ home-grown resolution of 1366 x 768 to 1440 x 900. They could be cheaper now than what your vidcard costs and they consume smaller number electricity.
you can use the adapter but a dvi monitor would look much more clear and bright
