I'm trying to minister to a friend who's monitor has started playing up. She turned on the computer to find that the blind had shrunk within width... I've tried altering it through the monitor buttons but the opportunity to increase the screen distance will not work. Everything else works (eg, altering screen altitude, position), but not the screen distance... the numbers go up but at hand is no visible metamorphose to the screen.
I've also tried to amend her resolution settings, but again no matter what I tried next to that I didn't experience any success!!
Her monitor is a Fujitsu get... that's all I can communicate you unfortunately!

Answer:
Go to Control Panel > Appearences and Themes > Display...then click the Settings tab at the top and select the apporpriate Screen resolution...
If not, you'll enjoy to find the CD that come with the monitor and install the drives on the computer, this should support satisfy the computer next to what type of monitor it's displaying with.

Is within an auto adjust on her monitor? oh wait, nvm its a CRT I'm assuming.
In Control Panel -> Display... Click the Settings Tab, next the Advanced button.
Select the Monitor Tab. Try altering the Screen Refresh Rate.
60 is normal and most monitors will behave at this rate.
Have a play around.
Its internal circuitary problem of monitor you can adjust span but that is solitary with hole the monitor and adjust port available on mainboard (Circuit) of monitor.
