Um .. when have a TV near a PC input so is it suitable or doomed to failure ?

I want to but one for a TV and a TV monitor

no you can attain one monitor for both and connect the both by spilator to watch any one of them
Mostly LCDs and high-end Plasma Sets are the most adjectives types with a PC-input., they are incredibly convenient, LCDs are good for this BUT... on plasmas is not that honest, as burn-in occures from the computer graphics you will regret it for the rest of the Plasma's lifetime.
it is good if u close to to watch dvds and do enjoy a dvd player or if u download movies on to your PC,but other that that it is just a waist to hold.
